How my journey began

Beginning with the stalwart of PPC (pay per click - the ads on Google), I joined an independent media agency in Wiltshire in 2006 learning the basics and quickly moving onto managing many different accounts. These included businesses in finance, retail, charity and fast moving consumer goods (FMCG, essentials such as food), giving me my wide range of experience and vital disciplines.

After 6 years, I decided to move client side to an upcoming furniture retailer, who has now become one of the largest in the UK. This is really where my knowledge expanded in to the other areas of paid media marketing. My expertise grew in line with the budget and this allowed the holy grail that is a test and learn approach.

As I had joined the company in it’s early days, I was also able to learn the non paid side of online marketing as well as dabbling in improving the user experience and conversion on the website.

Things move fast and I have become adept at going at the same pace, staying up to date with the latest products available.

As I said, I know my onions and look forward to showing you what I can do.
